Casey Feicht  

Casey Feicht, the creator of Kids Yoga Guide, is passionate about teaching kids, training others to teach kids yoga and serving the next generation in living a peaceful and healthy lifestyle.  Casey's passion for kids’ yoga grew out of her love for yoga and for her daughter Grace, now 11 years young. Casey has been teaching yoga since 1998 and has experienced tremendous personal and spiritual transformation, so much that she could help but share it with kids. She created Kids Yoga Guide to serve future generations in transformation and to bring about world peace. 

Ruth Hendricks

Ruth Hendricks is the Parent Engagement Program Coordinator at FIRC (Family & Intercultural Resource Center). She has worked with families and their children in Summit County for the past five years, helping promote positive parenting practices.

Ruth Hendricks es la Coordinadora del Programa de Participación de los Padres en FIRC (Family & Intercultural Resource Center). Ella ha trabajado con familias y sus hijos en el condado de Summit durante los últimos cinco años, ayudando a promover prácticas positivas de crianza.

Adrienne Sedlak  

Adrienne Sedlak, M. Ed, Early Childhood Health Outdoors Education and Outreach Manager. Adrienne has been in the early childhood education and environmental education field for over ten years.  She is an advanced level Colorado early childhood approved trainer.  Adrienne received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Science from the University of Denver and a Master of Education: Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.  Adrienne believes in the importance of connecting young children to nature as a way of nurturing their curiosity and providing them with the skills they need to be successful

Claudia Ryks  

Claudia Ryks is the director of Awareness for Happiness. Organization that started providing educational theater presentations since 2012 in Peru, and since 2017 in Colorado. The mission of AFH is to spread awareness about social issues using performing arts as an educational tool. Mrs. Ryks has worked as a Parent Educator at the FIRC in Summit County for two and a half years. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and established AFH as a social business in 2018 with the goal to extend her outreach, educational topics, and stablish a nonprofit organization.

Claudia Ryks es directora de Awareness for Happiness, en español ¨Conciencia para la felicidad¨. Esta organización empezó a ofrecer presentaciones de teatro educativo desde el 2012 en Perú y desde el 2017 en Colorado. La misión de AFH es difundir conciencia acerca de problemas sociales utilizando artes escénicas como herramienta educativa. La señora Ryks ha trabajado como educadora de padres en FIRC en el Condado de Summit por dos años y medio. Ella es licenciada en Administración de Negocios y ha establecido AFH como negocio social en el 2018 con el objetivo de extender su alcance, los temas educativos y establecer una organización sin fines de lucro.

Rita Tracy  

Rita Tracy is currently the Language Development and Equity Coordinator at Summit School District. Prior to that she was an Instructor of Educational Psychology at San José State University, where she taught classes to prospective teachers on productive classroom management techniques, and equity and avoiding bias in the classroom. Prior to that she was a high school teacher in various Colorado high schools.

April Kemp 

April Kemp, MSTN, studied at Hawthorn University where she received her Master of Science in Traditional Nutrition in 2016. She has been working with Summit County families for over 13 years through different organizations, such as the Family Intercultural Resource Center and Early Childhood Options. Now, through her personal business, Healing Folk Food, she educates and supports families and individuals on their journey to health through a traditional, healing diet. 

 

April Kemp, MSTN, estudio en la universidad de Hawthorn donde recibio su maestria en nutricion tradicional en 2016. Hace mas que 13 anos que ha trabajado con familias atraves de organizaciones diferentes como la FIRC y ECO. Ahora con su proprio negocio, "Healing Folk Food", ella educa y apoya familias y individuos en su camino a tener una vida mas sana adaptando una dieta tradicional.

Amber Troutman 

Amber Troutman joined Cooking Matters Colorado in May 2015. She has facilitated Cooking Matters for Parents and Families courses and grocery store tours. Amber currently coordinates the Child Care Professionals Program to raise awareness and support relationships within the early childhood education community, and to reach childcare professionals and low-income caregivers through food skills education. Amber has over four years of teaching experience and experience in non-profit settings related to health and food security in diverse populations. Amber has her Masters of Science in International Development from Tulane University.
